Activity Programs – Haemodialysis Unit

These Activity Programs are designed to provide children who are undergoing Haemodialysis with some fun and laughter, an opportunity to be a little creative, keep their mind active and help pass the time.

The program was launched at the Haemodialysis Unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane.

We’ve had a great response to this program and the CKSN Team has some fantastic ideas for our upcoming visits.

Some of our activities include ’Funky Hat Fridays’ where all of us wear funky hats, craft projects, origami, playing card games and board games, colouring in and reading 3D books.

Throughout the year we will be celebrating different events and festivals e.g. Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Christmas etc with craft projects and activities, as well as organising ‘special guests’ to provide entertainment.
